1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using sccc.in and its related services (the “Platform”), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions (“Terms”). If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.

2. Eligibility

  • Anyone may register as a Student, subject to Section 3 (Minors).
  • Teachers and Partner Centers must provide accurate identity, qualification, and business details, and are subject to admin approval before their account becomes active.
  • You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide during registration.

3. Minors (Users Under 18)

  • Students under 18 may register only with Parent/Guardian details provided as part of the registration process.
  • Parents/guardians are deemed to have reviewed and consented to these Terms and our Privacy Policy on behalf of the minor by completing registration.
  • SCCC reserves the right to request additional verification for minor accounts.

4. Account Responsibility

  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials (registration number/email and password) and for all activity under your account.
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account.

5. Courses, Content, and Certificates

  • Course content (slides, videos, tests, practical assignments) is provided for your personal, non-commercial learning use only. You may not copy, redistribute, resell, screen-record, or publicly share paid course content.
  • The Platform includes reasonable technical measures (e.g., disabling right-click/copy on certain content, screenshot deterrents) to discourage unauthorised copying. These are deterrents, not guarantees — SCCC does not claim or warrant that content cannot be copied by any means (e.g., an external camera).
  • Certificates are issued based on your performance in the Platform’s Theory tests, Practical assessments (automated MCQ or Teacher-reviewed submissions), and/or typing exams, as configured for each course. Certificates reflect completion and performance on the Platform and do not constitute a government degree/diploma unless explicitly stated for that specific course.
  • SCCC reserves the right to revoke a certificate found to have been obtained through fraud, impersonation, or violation of these Terms.

6. Payments

  • All payments for modules, courses, certificates, and other paid features are processed securely through Razorpay.
  • Prices displayed are inclusive/exclusive of applicable taxes as indicated at checkout.
  • Once payment is completed and access to paid content/certificate is granted, the purchase is subject to our [Refund and Cancellation Policy].
  • SCCC is not responsible for payment failures, delays, or issues caused by your bank, payment method, or Razorpay’s systems, though we will assist in resolving genuine payment disputes.

7. Partner Centers and Teachers

  • Partner Centers and Teachers registered on the Platform are independent from SCCC. Where a course involves offline/in-person components delivered by a Partner Center, SCCC’s responsibility is limited to the online Platform, content hosting, testing, and certificate issuance — SCCC is not responsible for the offline conduct, facilities, safety, or quality of instruction provided directly by a Partner Center or Teacher, beyond what is delivered through the Platform itself.
  • Partner Centers and Teachers are independently responsible for complying with applicable local laws relating to their operations.

8. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Provide false information during registration
  • Share your account credentials with others or allow another person to take a test/exam on your behalf
  • Attempt to bypass sequential module unlocking, test security, or screenshot/copy deterrents
  • Upload harmful, obscene, or infringing content (e.g., in Practical file submissions or chat)
  • Use the Platform’s messaging system to harass, solicit, or contact other users outside its intended purpose
  • Attempt to access another user’s account or data without authorisation

Violation may result in suspension or termination of your account, forfeiture of access to paid content, and, where applicable, legal action.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • The Platform is provided “as is” and “as available.” SCCC does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.
  • SCCC is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform, including loss of data, loss of access due to technical issues, or reliance on course content for any specific outcome (e.g., employment).
  • SCCC’s total liability for any claim relating to the Platform shall not exceed the amount you paid to SCCC for the specific course/service giving rise to the claim.
  • Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be excluded under Indian law (e.g., liability for fraud).

10. Intellectual Property

All Platform content (except content uploaded by Teachers/Partner Centers for their own courses, which remains their responsibility to have rights to) is the property of Smart Choice AI Technologies / SCCC and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Course content may not be reproduced without written permission.

11. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Gonda, Uttar Pradesh.

12. Grievance Redressal

13. Changes to These Terms

SCCC may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. Material changes will be communicated via the Platform or email.
